Description: Advanced Materials and Design's Sheet and Plate Stock is a precision made flat material designed to be machine or hand shaped to make lightweight high performance parts. Our materials are manufactured to the composite industries highest standards utilizing aerospace grade materials, vacuum bagging and high- temperature, high-pressure hydraulic presses. This sophisticated process assures you the lowest void content laminate available.  The laminate is designed with a plain weave fabric on the outside with unidirectional fiber on the inside. Other fabrics, fibers and materials available special order.

Standard ply orientation of the unidirectional material is 0,90 degrees, custom
Sheet and plate stock can be designed with any ply orientation requested for a nominal upcharge. Standard epoxy resin used is 250 degrees F. cure; 160 degrees F. service. Other systems are available.

Standard size:  12" x 18" plate,   18"x  24" sheet;    4' x 8'  maximum  (currently)

Standard thickness: 
Sheetstock: .032" , .062" , .080" ,  .125"
Platestock: .250" , .375" , .500"

Custom sizes and thicknesses available and quoted upon request.

Priced by the square foot; 3 square foot minimum on sheetstock, 1.5 on platestock.
